Blue sky and snow – Assembling the pieces

First stage was creating the shapes which meant creating the template. This I did by tracing the shape of the blue section from the original picture and then cutting it out very carefully.

I then used the template as guide to perforate and tear the paper, as I did in the Ise hills piece. For this I have decided to do two pieces in two different colours to see the effect, one in the regular blue and the other in sky blue. I only managed to get a picture of the regular blue one with the pieces

And this is it once I have stuck it down with rice glue.

And here is the sky blue one which I think is a little better.

And here they both are once they have dried.
